We’re currently seeking a Junior Project Manager to support our Federal team in Washington, D.C. (Hybrid; 3 days on site). 

 

What you'll do

This role will be involved in supporting Staff and the Senior Project Manager to execute Cybersecruity project management initiatives. 

  • Execute tasks to ensure successful and on-time delivery for Cybersecurity work products.
  • Prepare and present written communications, plans, reports, briefings, and briefing materials.
  • Monitor, track and report on the status of information requests related to IT audit engagements and organization-wide processes centralized through the Cyber PMO.
  • Participate in meetings and discussions with internal and external stakeholders helping to track project status.
  • Support Cybersecurity by making recommendations for operational improvement and executing processes to enhance situational awareness and efficiency.
  • Support transition activities, as directed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

What you'll bring

  • Demonstrated experience establishing, documenting, and managing the scope, schedule, and resource allocation for projects and sustaining activities.
  • Ability to express oneself professionally with a command of the English language in both verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to conduct briefings and present materials to large audiences and/or senior and executive management.

Education
At minimum a completed Associate's degree from an accredited university is required, preferably in an IT related field.

 

Clearance / Suitability 

Ability to obtain a clearance or a Public Trust is preferred, however all clearance levels and non-cleared applicants will also be considered.

 

Certifications 

PMP or related project management certification is preferred but not required.

 

Years of Experience 

Three (3) to five (5) years of demonstrated experience supporting project management initiatives within a cybersecurity or IT environment.
